Alex Reid demands £10m to leave house shared with Katie Price

As the problematic situations continue to unfold, Alex Reid has recently refused to leave the marital home he shared with Katie Price unless she pays him £10 million pounds. Talk about putting up a good fight - no pun intended! The cage fighter was ditched by Katie Price last month, and she has also criticised him for being extremely fame hungry. Alex wants a 50-50 split of their possessions in exchange for the divorce - he simply will not leave the 8 bedroom property in Surrey until Katie conforms. It is rumoured that he told friends, 'I am going nowhere until she pays me the cash I deserve.'

A friend also added, 'The divorce is still very much on track and Kate's feelings about Alex remain the same. Alex isn't sleeping, he is twitchy and just has no grasp on reality. It's as though he thinks this is all one big game that will just disappear.'

It has also become apparent that Alex could cash in on a third of Katie's wealth, according to matrimonial lawyer David Osbourne - which is estimated at around £40 million. Osbourne commented, 'The outcome is by no means certain but I would predict that Alex will come away with something like £10 million - a third, maybe, of what she is worth. All her belongings will go into the pot and count towards the settlement.'

Katie is also putting her guard up and firmly refuses to part with such a large sum of money. She has celebrity divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton on her team - nicknamed the 'Steel Magnolia.' Shackleton dealt with Sir Paul McCartney's divorce from Heather Mills in 2008.

A friend of Katie added, 'Kate has worked hard to build up an inheritance for her kids and there is no way she will just hand over a bundle of cash to Alex.'
