Matched betting - If you’re looking to make money online, matched betting is a great way to do that. You need to be based in the UK and be aged over 18, but if this is you, then it is something that is tax-free, risk-free, and completely legal. How it works is by utilizing free bets that are offered on online betting sites, such as, for example, by matching the bet at a betting exchange. There is eliminated risk as you are betting both for and against a particular outcome. You are making the most of the free bet, which can be up to a large sum of money. Doing so several times and various sites can really add up.

Online gaming and streaming - If you are an online gamer, then you can make money through monetizing an established YouTube channel, where you can build up a following and broadcast some of the latest popular games consistently and in a really entertaining and unique way. You could also stream your gaming sessions daily, weekly or monthly on Twitch which allows subscribers to pay to watch your content. Full-time Twitch streamers make a really substantial income, and if your playing alot each week, you can stream with friends and benefit quite easily and in a really fun way!

Complete surveys - A popular way to make money online is to fill out surveys online in any spare time that you have. Although this can be quite time-consuming to do this to earn a full-time wage, it can be ideal for earning extra income. There are a number of brands and research companies, who are looking for specific feedback on a variety of topics for example Research-i who focus quite heavily on gaming research, and offer up to £250 for some projects. For basic consumer surveys, a few minutes of your time could earn you around £3, and doing a few each day certainly adds up.

Start your own blog - Having your own blog or website can be a great way to earn an income online, you really do have to push and be consistent, or you can just passively wait to earn over time. I did a bit of both for my site! You can earn through banner advertising, click-through advertising, working with brands, using affiliate links, link building, sponsorships and more. There are starting costs, such as domain names and site hosting, but this can and does lead to much greater things.

It would be great to hear what you think, feel free to drop me an email at if you need further advice regarding online gaming.
