Rihanna recently previewed her Fenty fashion line at a pop up store in Paris, wearing a white blazer dress from her collection. Industry professionals such as members of LVMH and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, and Victoria Secret's models where all close by to support a female black artist make fashion history. Rihanna said, 'This is a moment in history. It's a big deal for me and my entire generation.'
Rihanna opted for a chic modernized look, characterizing the collection as hyper-feminine. She takes traditional menswear elements and adds feminine touches, structured blazers, and dresses with curving lines and detail which will accentuate the concept of the classic modern woman. This was Rihanna's intention for her brand overall. And the shades of pastel colours further adds to it's feminine nature ideal for summer. Maison Fenty will have accessories from shoes, to sunglasses, apparel such as tops and outerwear.
