Ciara has released the first single from her sixth album
Jackie. Her album is named after her mother because she can now see the world through her eyes. I love that. This is a really good mid-tempo track produced by Harmony Samuels and co-written by Ciara and Rock City, where a heartbroken CiCi sings about a lover who did her wrong, could this possibly be her ex-fiancé Future? I was shocked and upset for Ciara when the engagement was called off after they both got tattoos of each others initials. I feel that this track definitely comes from a personal place, especially after listening to these lyrics, 'You actin’ like you upgraded me, I upgraded you' and 'Is that your bitch over there givin’ me the ugly stare / The one with the silicone ass and the Brazilian hair..'
Jackie will be out this Spring. Future missed out. We adore Ciara, don't we ladies?!
