Who is Kemi?
Biography & Career So Far

Kemi is a Journalist, Blogger, Influencer, and Digital Gaming PhD Student with an undeniable genuine passion and enthusiasm for her profession. Her credentials speak volumes. Currently residing in London, England, Kemi grew up with an all girls private school educational background and strong academic ability, later graduating with a Bachelors Honors Degree in American Studies and History. Following the birth of her daughter Aaliyah, Kemi went on to obtain a Masters Degree in International Journalism at City University London. As a Mother - drive and determination are extremely important to her, and she aims to be the greatest role model she can be to her daughter.

Kemi formerly wrote a monthly celebrity column for MTV UK's The Wrap Up, has also interned with FHM, VIBE Magazine, and has worked with Atlantic Records, Revolver Entertainment, SMC Europe, Marilyn Lopez PR, Slip & Slide Records, TNT, BET International, Persona PR, Sony Music, BET Black Girls Rock Awards, Impressive PR, EA Games – The Sims FreePlay Gamer Influencer and Engagement Program, EGX , MTV Networks, ITV 1 talkbackTHAMES Syco TV Production X Factor.

Kemi also worked as a publicist to Jermaine Riley - formerly 1/3 of UK R&B Group FDM/Fundamental (03), who were previously signed to Geffen Records [USA] & Ne-Yo's Compound Entertainment Label.

Kemi is preparing to study for a PhD in Gaming, in researching the interactive gaming world in the rise and popularity of visual HD 4K technology. Alongside her university supervisors, Kemi hopes to publish a title on Grand Theft Auto V one of the biggest video games in history. Catch her at some of the top gaming events in London and Europe this year and in the future.

Uniquely Kemi is one of very few female black gamers and influencers, and hopes to combine her expertise in Journalism, Gaming and Media after gradating with a Doctorate to collaborate with a leading Games company and also teach related courses as a lecturer and mentor. She also hope to purchase a second property in the US and live between the States and the UK. The future looks bright and Kemi has never given up on her dreams and goals.
