Cassie is back after a long awaited return with the first video for her G-Eazy-assisted single 'Love a Loser,' which is also part of a recently-released 10-minute short film, directed by Harrison Boyce. The video opens with Cassie
and her lead guy talking about him growing up in
Paris and their love for the romantic city. The couple show the flip side to their lustful relationship, a wild ride of motel arguments,
liquor store stop offs, before G-Eazy makes an appearance in an adjacent motel room. Cassie spoke out recently about her short film also, 'I wanted to do something different from a
regular music video, which I still have. But I worked with
Harrison Boyce, he directed it, and I really enjoyed being part of it.' Produced by Ben Billions and Danny Boy, the track is scheduled to appear on Cassie’s forthcoming sophomore album, which will be her first album since her
self titled 2006 debut. Much needed, cannot wait.
