Biography & Career So Far

Kemi is one of the UK's most popular online celebrity & entertainment journalists, with an undeniable genuine passion and enthusiasm for her profession. Her credentials speak volumes. Currently residing in London, England, Kemi grew up with an all girls private school educational background and strong academic ability, later graduating with a Bachelors Honors Degree in American Studies and History. Following the arrival of her daughter Aaliyah, Kemi went on to obtain a Masters Degree in International Journalism at City University London. As a Mother - drive and determination are extremely important to her, and she aims to be the greatest role model she can be to her young daughter.

Kemi formerly wrote a monthly celebrity column for MTV UK's The Wrap Up, has also interned with FHM, VIBE Magazine, and has worked with Atlantic Records, EMI, Revolver Entertainment, SMC Europe, Marilyn Lopez PR, Slip & Slide Records, TNT, BET International, Persona PR, Sony Music, BET Black Girls Rock Awards, MOBO's and Impressive PR..

Kemi also worked as a publicist to Jermaine Riley - formerly 1/3 of UK R&B Group FDM/Fundamental, who were previously signed to Geffen Records [USA] & Ne-Yo's Compound Entertainment Label. Singer and songwriter Jermaine Riley continues to pursue his career as 1/2 of UK R&B Duo Dora Martin.

She hopes to combine her expertise in Journalism and Media for that ultimate dream career, once relocating to the US.
