On February 16, 2013 - HBO will air a brand new feature length self-directed documentary about Beyonce Knowles. B recently commented 'HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity. Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.'
President of HBO Programming, Michael Lombardo added, 'Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person. Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.'
The documentary will include new footage of Beyonce's upbringing and childhood growing up in Houston, Texas, as well as home videos balancing her day to day life as a mother and businesswoman as she focuses on building her own company, Parkwood Entertainment. Viewers can also expect rehearsals for live performances, and B returning back to work following the birth of daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
