'Beyoncé has delivered some of the most legendary and memorable performances in VMA history, we are so excited she’ll be returning to the VMA stage this year,' commented Amy Doyle, Executive Producer of the 2011 VMAs. 'Everyone will be talking about how she set the VMA stage on fire-yet again!'
Additional announced performers include Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, and Young the Giant. Presenters will be Nicki Minaj, Drake, Rick Ross, and Odd Future aswell as UK's fantastic vocal artist Jessie J - as the evening’s House Artist. Tony Bennett will introduce a much needed and respected musical tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
