Judge Keith Schwartz has granted Lindsay the ability to post $20,000 bail for the offence, and also an additional sum of money for breaching her probational period. The judge did however warn Lohan that she would not be offered bail if she violates her probation again while the theft incident continues.
Schwartz stated that, 'You're in a different situation now where a felony has been filed against you and so in the interim while this case is percolating until a resolution is reached, if you violate the law I remand you and will not set bail. You're no different from anyone else so please don't push your luck because I'm telling you things will be different.'
Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers has requested that Lindsay and her agents have been asked to stay away from the boutique who were somewhat alarmed to receive a bouquet of flowers following the allegation.
Judge Schwartz agreed judge agreed, commenting that 'You and your agents can't have any contact directly or go to that location during the proceedings.'
Lindsay, who has not yet commented on the situation other than the fact that she has witnesses to prove her innocence - is due back in court on February 23.
