One of my all time favourite pop stars Britney Spears is moving house. She currently lives in an $8.9m properly in Calabasas Los Angeles, and is soon upgrading to a pad - over double the cost of her present home. It is reported that Britney has bought a new home in a private community a few miles South from her soon-to-be former home.
The community is surrounded by other celebrity homes such as where Jennifer Lopez, The Osbournes, and the Kardashians live. The private gated area is adorably village-like with even its own Starbucks, supermarket and restaurants. Hopefully now she can get the privacy she needs away from paparazzi, and spend some quality time when not working with her two sons, 5 year old Sean Preston, and 4 year old Jayden James. For their delight the home offers a games room with air hockey table, pin ball machines and arcade games.
The fabulous Mock Tudor style home sits on an incredible 20,000 square feet of indoor space, with 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, high ceilings, a breathtaking entrance, double staircase and dark hardwood flooring. Outside there is a tennis court, swimming pool and multiple hot tubs, with caves and waterfalls plus acres of manicured lawns and mature trees.
Britney is doing very well. As well as being able to soon enjoy her new home, she is also enjoying the success of her new single Hold It Against Me, which went straight to number one on the Billboard Charts during its first week of release. Britney's new album Femme Fatale is out in March.
