Making a swift comeback to her all too familiar territory of TV presenting, Denise Van Outen is confirmed as the host for the a new Channel 5 show OK! TV which airs this month. Denise who is also a mother to gorgeous daughter Betsy, will co-host with Matt Johnson [pictured left]
'I have a huge appetite for all things showbiz so this show is right up my street. I'm really looking forward to working with Matt too and we can't wait to show the viewers what we've got in store,' Denise commented with regards to her new role.'
Matt Johnson equally commented, 'Johnson said of his new role: "I think Denise and I are going to have a lot of fun together - I've long been an admirer of her presenting style and know we'll get along like a house on fire.'
Producers of the show, promise a collection of 'big name interviews, features from the worlds of celebrity, music and fashion, plus gossip and plenty of banter.'
The launch of an OK! magazine spin-off on the station had been long awaited following publisher Richard Desmond's acquisition of Channel 5 last year.
Apparently also this is not the first time an OK!-branded show has been launched. OK! TV first aired over 10 years ago on !TV for just one series, and unfortunately an additional run was not commissioned.
The show which is to be made by Sky News, will run each weeknight from 6.30pm for half an hour.
