Boy Band Blue to represent Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest

It has been confirmed that British boy band Blue will be singing for Britain in the Eurovision song contest this year. They will perform a song which they have written themselves called 'I Can' - which will be hosted in Dusseldorf Germany in May. Blue were formed back in 2000, and after a short break the lads regrouped in 2009. They have successfully sold over 13 million records, and won two Brit Awards during their career.

In April a documentary will air following the four members - Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe - on their journey leading up to the annual contest.

Member Simon Webbe commented,  'I've always wanted to represent my country, so this is a truly exciting experience for Blue.' The Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted on May 14th with the hilarious Graham Norton commentating.
