Bruno Mars 24K Magic is my favourite album from the Hawaiian born superstar, by far. Bruno has released his latest video from the album for the track titled 'That's What I Like,' directed by Bruno and Jonathan Lia, the choreographed video features Bruno some animated graphics and slick dance moves, very original, creative and so much fun. I love it. 'That's What I Like,' has also officially been certified platinum by the RIAA, peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100 and is also Bruno's first No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
Bruno recently revealed to Beats 1, 'TWIL is a direct product of ’90s influence. It’s what we want to bring to the table musically. You hear these ’90s influences on the whole album, really, but 24K Magic is because of West Coast hip-hop: Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Suga Free. This is what we grew up on. Listening to them, it was at a time when it was okay to party, to be flashy, to get on the dance floor.'
This Sunday March 5, Bruno will be honoured with the Innovator Award at the 2017 iHeartRadio Awards, The 24K Magic World Tour starts March 28 ending November 11 in Los Angeles.
