Have The Only Way Is Essex stars Sam Faiers & Joey Essex split up?



20 year old The Only Way Is Essex beauty Sam Faiers has spoken out about her perhaps-temporary split from Joey Essex, commenting that the spark just went out between the two. She also revealed that she 'Needed space' from Joey, also 20 years old.

Her Star Magazine column revealed that 'I was mothering Joey - I just need space from him. He’s gorgeous but we spent so much time together so quickly that the spark went out just as fast. But I reckon we could get it back.' He was always more concerned about me than himself, and – although it is nice to be put first – I didn’t want it to be like that.'

It also surfaced that Sam felt the pressures of maintaining a relationship in the public eye fowllowing the success of The Only Way Is Essex series on ITV2. 'I honestly think we’ve all had so much pressure put on us - and it’s amazing for the show - but we are all under so much pressure and it’s too much for our relationships,' she continued.
