Superstar Mariah Carey has given birth to her twins, in Los Angeles at 12:07pm yesterday EDT. Mariah and Nick Cannon's girl came first followed by their twin boy. Completely overjoyed Nick described it as being 'the most incredible wedding anniversary gift ever in life.' Perfectly fitting for the twins birthday, the couple also celebrated their wedding anniversary today. Mariah Carey's representative, Cindi Berger confirms that the baby girl weighed 5lbs 3oz, her brother was next, at 5lbs 6oz. Berger also acknowledges that the couple have not named their children as of yet. Many fans cannot wait to learn what their names will be..
Nick drove Mariah to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom. Berger revealed, Mariah, having gone through a previous false alarm - was calm, thinking that it was another. Cannon on the other hand, bless him, was so nervous he went to the wrong department in the hospital, and was guided to the maternity ward. Beautifully, they listened to Mariah Carey's hit song 'We Belong Together' after the children were born.
This afternoon Nick proudly tweeted, 'My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won't ever be able to top this!' The lovely couple are planning on renewing their wedding vows, on Sunday after getting hitched back in 2008. As far as more kiddies are concerned, Carey has confirmed that she is done! She has been blessed with the ideal - a boy for Nick who will be a fansastic father and a girl to engage in girly time with mommie for Mariah - just perfect. The twins will have the most amazing parents, they are brilliant idols. I wish them all the happiness hugs & congratulations on their amazing new arrivals. xoxoxo
