Ideal gentleman and German born Hollywood star Boris Kodjoe covers the latest issue of Upscale magazine. Boris speaks about his role in the new upcoming drama film titled Addicted, talks about being a regular guy, perceptions created by the media, and Hollywood. Check out the highlights below. Hollywood

Hollywood puts you in a box and they don’t like you stepping to the left or right of that. I’ve tried as much as I can to just spread my wings when the opportunity arose. And it’s tough, I’m not gonna lie, ‘’cause they don’t let you. You really have to scratch and fight for the chance to show them that you can do it.

 

Being a Regular Guy

I could walk around with security guards and make it really weird on everybody and draw a lot of attention. But I like to move around like a regular person.”

 

People's perceptions

If I started worrying about how people perceive me, I would be mad about people not realizing that I couldn’t even speak English when I first came here. People always give so much props to English actors that do an American accent convincingly. I had to learn how to walk and talk and move around so I could be accepted as somebody who plays African-American roles. There’s not one other German actor who has established himself as playing American characters. I’m proud of that. I use it as encouragement to myself that I don’t have to put limitations on where I wanna go.

Wiz’ album Blacc Hollywood impressively sold 90,000 copies in it's first week, which is his first official No. 1 on the Billboard 200. 'Number 1 album and Jay Z never tweeted me. I'm proud of that,' tweeted Wiz.

The highlight of last week definitely had to be the MTV Video Music Awards. Beyoncé stole the night with her phenomenal performance and crowd cheering montage of her hit songs from her self titled album 'Beyoncé.' Did you see gorgeous Blue Ivy sitting on Daddie Jay-Z's lap dancing along to Mommie's moves?! Too cute, if you haven't yet Google that real quick she is too cute. 

 

After receiving the prestigious best entertainer Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award Beyoncé closed the show with a much deserved standing ovation. For the nights after parties at this years 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, B was spotted in the press room in a burgundy Zuhair Murad gown. #TeamB. We love her!

Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade $5 Million Dollar Wedding

Congratulations to the beautiful Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade who married yesterday at a simply stunning ceremony which took place at the idyllic Chateau Artisan in Miami, a picturesque castle spread over a lush green 14 acres with a private lake and lavish gardens. Celebs in attendance included Kevin Heart and fiancé Eniko Parrish, Ludacris and girlfriend Eudoxie, Terrence J, Carmelo and La La Anthony, LeBron James and many others.

 

 Gabrielle beautiful wedding dress was designed by Dennis Basso for Kleinfeld and all females who were invited all wore bride white, with the men in all black to match the groom. It was revealed, although not confirmed that John Legend serenaded the couple at the wedding. Perfect. Pre arranged Transportation consisted of several buses collecting all invited guests from Fontainebleau Miami Beach, only to shortly arrive at the breath-taking $13 million dollar Chateau Artisan built by Charles Sieger.

 

Pure perfection. Congratulations!

O hasn't wasted a minute getting back to laying vocals in the studio and has released a new single with the talented Jeremih on a Da Internz-produced track titled 'Show Me.' Omarion is still busy preparing his MMG debut album Sex Playlist, while Jeremih is also planning a release for his own project and next album called  Late Nights: The Album. Loving the latest vid from Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea featuring Rita Ora in 'Black Widow,' the most recently released single from Iggy's chart topping debut album The New Classic. Drawing inspiration from Quentin Tarantino’s thriller Kill Bill, the sexy blonde femme fatales star in an action packed clip filmed in L.A. and the video also stars T.I. and Kill Bill star Michael Madsen. The scene opens with a hilarious intro where Iggy plays a waitress at a diner, and Rita and her obnoxious man stop by for a bite to eat, a bacon and cheese sammich to be exact. Lol. From 1.00 minute I was lmfao! Rita at 1.30 Looool! The ladies undergo Kung Fu and Samurai sword fight training, before seeking much needed revenge against Madsen.
